Kosovo Communists Education College Chief Samir Sahin, in Eyes 7 in Klan Kosova, has said that about 12,000 fewer students have attended the 2021-22 school year, in contrast with the previous school year.
That is because of the escapes and also because of declining births.
While the challenge for the pre-university system remains the implementation of collective contract in municipalities, for which the Ministry of Education has not even offered support to municipalities.
And for strikes by teachers led by the Education Union, Sahin has said that as municipal education directors throughout Kosovo, they believe teachers should be treated more dignified, but do not support strikes as an expression of their discontent. This, as according to the head of the College for Education, at the same time director of Education in Fushe Kosovo, has also followed many inconsistencies in the education process over the past two years.
