There are 7kg of cocaine seized in Italy, in handcuffs “gangs” of drug trafficking, among them 26-year-old Albanian

The arrested persons are a 67-year-old by Imprunet and a couple with residences in Turin, an Italian national, 28, and his partner a 26-year-old Albanian.

The detainees were found sevenkg of cocaine hidden under the driver's seat. The car was seized in the quality of material evidence.

Investigations began after reports received by citizens for suspicious movements on a street in Impruneta. After the deepening carabinieri investigation, the carabinieri managed to fall on the trail of three people.

Later investigations made it possible to find nearly 1,000 euros in cash in small-value bills named as illegal activity revenues, mobile phones and luxury clocks; all placed in sequestro. The three arrested were sent to the Sollicciano prison in Florence.

At the end of the trial hearing, the judge has imposed security measures to jail for 67-year-old, house arrest for 28-year-olds and release for the Albanian. /abcnews.al/
