Lorna Garnett says she's been heartbreaking after her ten-year-old partner decided to leave for Sophia Karkadym just ten days after she moved to their house after she fled war-torn Ukraine.

Tony Garnett, 29, who works as a security guard, living in Bradford, West Yorkshire, said he fell in love with 22 years old and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.

Sophia, who left the city of Lviv in western Ukraine, said she was in love with Tony as soon as she saw him and that the two are living their love story.

But speaking of The Sun on Sunday, Lorna said she believes Sofia éia set Tony's eye at first, decided that she loved him and took him away.

She added: “She was not interested in the destruction she left behind”. Lorna told the newspaper that there were reservations to take her home, but he thought it was the right thing to do after seeing the dire situation in Ukraine in the news.

She said: “I decided it was the right thing to do to put a roof over someone's head and help him when they were in need. And that's how I've been paid off by Sofia for giving him a home. ”
