24 years from killing heroes Ilir Konusevci of Hazir Mala

Today, 24 years are filled by the killing of one of the KLA founders in Llap and one of the founders and supporters of the logistics sector for KLA, Ilir Konushefci and physician Haziri Mala.

In this case, in honour of their life and work, there will be homazhah at the martyrs' cemetery in the neighbourhood “Velania” in Pristina at 11:00. In attendance will be institutions officials, fellow fighters of heroes and family.

Ilir Konushefci was born on June 20, 1969, in Lluga, Podujevo. His childhood was spent in the village of his birth. The primary school was conducted in Lulshan, a high school in Podujevo, and enrolled in the Ferizaj High School, which he failed to complete because of his activities.

On May 13, 1992, Iliri, along with fellow Rexhep Uka, Selim Haziri, Naim Hyseni, Lulzim Podvorica, Naim Haziri, Batush Llugaliu and Shaip Haziri, establish the illegal or political group named “Eagles“, which would be organised to counter anyone directly endangering the wealth and things of people in Kosovo, but not putting aside even the combat strategy.

This is noted in the sworn oath, which says: “I swear before the flag and before friends that the tasks that the group presents, I will faithfully perform, and if there is a need for life I will give it to the realisation of our”.

This group, in 1993, comes in contact with the LKKK. Although there were some minor differences in the way of organisation, however, there is a way of co-operation, because both sides thought that the liberation of Kosovo could be carried out through armed warfare.

“unit Eagles“agrees to assist them in distributing the LKKCK body “crim”. This partnership lasted until the end of 1993 and early 1994.

In June 1996 this unit came into contact through the Mustaf Rrustem émé, with Commander Zahir Pajazit, and from then on was constantly side by side with it.

Following the assassination that Zahir, Hakif and Edmunds on January 31, 1997, in Pestovo near Vushtrri, with the suggestion of friends Selim Haziri, Naim Hyseni and Naim Haziri, go underground to a Pristina residence for several days and from here decide to move to Albania.

From that time on, Ilir, under circumstances created in Albania, changed the form of his action, but never leaving the oath given to fight to the end for Kosovo's liberation. There he began co-operating with Zahir's associates, like Adrian Krasniqi, with whom he was inseparable until Adrian's death, Kemim Kelmendi, Muje Krasniqi, Ismet Abdullah, Murat Ajjetin, etc.

Ilir in Albania worked on the country's level of arms supply, which was very difficult. He mainly carried out the task with Ardian Krasniqi, following Luan Haradinaj's murder.

After forming the network of collaborators, Ilir and Ardian sometimes came to Kosovo, with the aim of reshuffleing KLA ranks, as well as co-ordinating jobs with other circles, because after Zahir Pajazit's murder much was not as it used to be.

After Zahir's death, Ilir represented ZOL in Central Staff.

On October 16, 1997, Ardiani is killed, during an attack by the Serbian police station in Clicina, Pec. Killing him was a great loss for friends, for The KLA, especially for Ilir, because they, apart from others, were inseparable stock mates.

After this case, Iliri is tasked by friends with the key role of bringing weapons to Kosovo.

All the while he worked on this task, he entered Kosovo over thirty times, bringing various weapons from generation weapons to opposing weapons. Ilir, in addition to working on the weapons supply, contributed greatly to the bringing of professional superiors to the ranks of freedom fighters.

When Ilir in Kosovo was expected to introduce senior officers to the KLA, when heavy offensives were held in Kosovo and warning a frontal war, when more was expected and more weapons were required, while he was carrying out his duty with the greatest dedication, was killed on the early morning of May 9, 1998, where he was at least expected, in an ambush organised by the Serbian conqueror's protracted hand, along with physician Hazir Mala, while traveling to Bajram Turr, with a truck loaded with arms.

Ilir's murder caused a great loss for the entire country in particular The KLA and its central headquarters.
