20 days outside Kosovo, Kurti talks about his days in Kurbes

He said that within the framework of the global economic Forum, he has met with powerful leaders of various corporations, but also various politicians.

“In Davos, I came from the US, where I stayed for two weeks from the beginning of the initiatives with the Corporation for the Millennium Challenge for a $226m programme in the energy sector to meetings with companies for increased investments in Kosovo and meeting with President Biden”'s national security adviser, Kurti said.

He singled out his arrival in Switzerland and his encounter with fellow countrymen.

The return to Switzerland on the road to Kosovo was at the right level. We held two gatherings with fellow countrymen in our Consulate in Zurich, since Switzerland is a country that has not only a major role for Kosovo, the economy and development there, but also the fellow countrymen in Switzerland believe they have a role like nowhere else that has our diaspora because of their activity, the large number and the state of Switzerland, which in Albanians has found many citizens who contribute but at the same time do not forget their homeland”, Kurti said.

Kurti was further asked about relations between Kosovo and Switzerland and the possibility of advancing these reports.

A part of foreign investments and exports from Kosovo are also part of the development bridge we have with Switzerland, and I believe that in the coming months we will add more in the sense that there will be more investments from Switzerland in Kosovo, but Kosovo's exports to Switzerland. The processing of metal wood, leather, textiles and also agridustra and IT and communication fields where Kosovo has experienced a tremendous momentum should be highlighted. We are eternally grateful to Switzerland for being home to our migrants and our refugees, and today it is a country in which Albanians testify also to the skills and skill and zeal of the will to contribute to Switzerland, but also to Kosovo and the Albanian nation”, Kurti stressed.

As long as fellow countrymen come this summer on holiday Kurti indicated that they would still not need to pay at the border, as the police's expenses will be lifted by the Government of Kosovo.

Even this year's “won't need those fees at the border since until we become green card members, Kosovo covers the expenses I know that based on data our fellow countrymen' expenses have been around 10m euros, while the damages have not been 6m euros. We are interested in organizing expectations for fellow countrymen in the sense of cultural and historical tourism and a broad program for all generations. The powerful link to our license to be institutionalistic even more. We never forget our fellow countrymen and always will be part of our nation. We want them to come to investments in Kosovo and contribute through benefits” Kurti said.
