“I have insisted that first I do negotiations with the leader of the Russian Federation, as I think that the mediating meetings will not produce the desired effect”, the Ukrainian president added.
Zelensky added that he is not afraid of meeting Putin, since he has named “attempted murder” symptoms of poisoning that had members of Russian-Ukrainian negotiating groups in recent weeks.
