It has strongly condemned the criminal attacks in our country's north, where it has sought to bring to justice those who attacked the Kosovo Police in the north, Periscopi follows.
Disturbing “Incident incidents have occurred in northern Kosovo. Criminal attacks have been very strong. There was also a shooting at police patrols. Those who have performed these works must be brought to justice”, UNMIK chief Zadeh has said.
It concerns elections in Serbia, she says it has had to be allowed to be kept according to pre-created practices.
“We have expressed regret that no mode has been found for this selection”.
The elections in Serbia brought a government that has a solid majority. Even in Pristina, there is a stable majority in Parliament, and such circumstances can bring encouraging decisions”, she said.
Ziadeh has now invited leaders of Kosovo and Serbia to remain calm and reduce tensions. Speaking of dialogue, she said progress remains slow.
Regional initiatives like that of the Open Balkans, according to UNMIK chief, should be welcome from all sides for a general welfare.
Ziadeh says he will work for the approach of communities in Kosovo, until he adds that he is not meant to influence dialogue.
“I will be open to all sides, but my report to the Security Council is not a topic for Brussels dialogue. This is not the role of UNMIK”, Ziadeh said away.
