Ukrainian soldiers: We lack ammo, this is the last battle.

Ukraine's forces said they are preparing for the last “battle to check the southern city of Marioupolis, the AFP reports, Pryskopi follows.

In a letter to '% Facebook, the 36th Bigad of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said: “Today will likely be our last battle while lack of ammunition”.

After protecting the port for 47 days and doing “anything possible and impossible” to restore control of the city, the marines said they “have withdrawn” and there are “surrounded by the Russian Army, adding: “It's death for some of us and captivity for some other”.

Russian forces have said that recent fighting has centered around iron and cell and port workshops, while the marines said this is the place “the enemy pushed us back and surrounded us with fires and is now trying to destroy us”
