As the BBC has reported, there is no indication from Ukraine that it will be handed over to Russia in the besieged town of Marioupolis.
An adviser to Marioupolis Mayor Petro Andrischenko said that despite Russia's declaring that if Ukrainian troops hand over their weapons, they will be released, yet they continue to maintain defence.
Andriushchenko added that hostilities from Russia are not limited to the Azovstal steel plant, where Ukrainian soldiers are reportedly staying.
During the fighting, invaders have again promoted heavy artillery to private residential houses”, he said.
