Kryilo Tymoshenko, deputy chairman of the Ukrainian president's office, announced the curfew in a statement Saturday. The curfew will be in effect from 7: 00 a.m. to 5: 00 a.m. in the Donnetsk, Luhansk, Kharkiv, Zaporisizhja, Mykolaiv and Kherson regions. In other regions of Ukraine, including Kiev's capital, the curfew will take effect on Saturday from 11: 00 p.m. to Sunday morning.
Earlier this week, officials in the Luhansk and Sumy regions urged residents to participate in virtual online services, due to increased risk of Russian attacks. /abcnews.al.
