The Socialist Party gathers Congress today, quite different from the traditional format that has been followed for years. The first part of Congress will begin at 9:30, where there will be 5 panels that will last about two hours and extend to several main squares in Tirana
Representatives of the SP will hold meetings with members and citizens on current problems, parts of relevant tables will also be ministers according to the areas.
While later at 12: 00 p.m., the second phase of the works begins, which will be opened by Secretary General Damian Gjiknuri, to follow with the results of the National Consultation presented by Elisa Spiropali, while a significant part will also receive proposals for changes in the SP statute.
The congress is expected to impose a suspension of the mandate for current SP leaders in the district branches to pave the way for new elections, to be held in the first weeks of May.
Rama's word is scheduled to be around noon, while various ministers and MPs have been selected to do analysis of the majority's work in this third term.
