The air company “Israir”, which offered direct connections to Albania from Israel, has cancelled flights, replacing them with Serbia and Montenegro due to the subsidies they are providing.
Albanian operators fear the fact that this practice of subsidies could repel other tour-operties, which would be a serious blow to domestic tourism.
The news has revealed it on the social networks, the Albanian Tourist Union. The Israir Air Company, starting on April 25th, has cancelled all flights with Albania and will instead fly twice a day to Montenegro and Belgrade, as these states gave 50 euros of subsidies to each tourist.
This means that Montenegro's tourist market will be added this year to about 50,000 more tourists, who may well have taken over our country if our government would consider the previous demands of the Tourist Union for intensive politics.
These countries, including northern Macedonia, are on the test and with several known international tour operators currently operating in Albania, to pull them out of Albania and tow them to their countries”.
And do you know why this is happening? Because the state there thinks of the well-being of its citizens and doesn't show like they do at Ne”, says the Union's reaction to Facebook.
Contacted by the Monitor, Union representatives explained that the company “Israel” had regular flights with Albania, 5 times a week while reaching 7 flights a week in the summer. The company offered the charter service to Israel's pimps who had relations with Albanian pimps.
It is a largely organised tourism, located along the entire Albanian coast, but mainly in Durres. In the absence of the company that offers the charter service, operators are facing the cancellation of reservations that one part was guarantee contracts and part allotment.
This is a loss for Albanian tourism as Israelis visited our country throughout the year, even in cultural tours.
Fatos Cherenesti, “Fafa Group”, among the largest in the country for hotel capacities, expresses concern about what is happening. “It is a disaster that this market leaves Albania and the revenues that would provide the hotel and our economy will go elsewhere, when initial reservations were on the Albanian coast”.
Let's use this sad information on the hotel so that the demands and suggestions of the Tourist Union can be considered very seriously by our government, as our demands are in the help of the tourism industry to at least upgrade it to the countries of the region”, Cherenesti commented on social networks.
