The Russian Defence Ministry said on Friday that during the night it has fired missiles at a military target on the outskirts of Kiev, while promising more attacks on the Ukrainian capital in response to Ukraine's attacks on Russian targets, Perskopi writes.
The ministry said Russian forces also control an iron workshop in the city the besieged port of Marioupolis, which was surrounded by Russian troops weeks ago.
Powerful explosions were heard in Kiev on Friday, which appears the biggest since Russia's announcement weeks ago that it will withdraw all troops from the area in order to prepare for combat in the south and in the line.
“Numri and the degree of missile attacks on targets in Ukraine will increase in response to any terrorist attacks or acts of sabotage against Russia's territory, acts carried out by the nationalist Kiev regime”, the ministry's report said.
The attacks are believed to have come after the Russian Defence Ministry announced that Moscow, the Black Sea warship, has sunk after its destruction.
