In Moscow, a foreign affairs ministry spokeswoman confirmed that Russia had sent diplomatic notes to the United States and other countries for supply of weapons to Ukraine, but did not say what the messages contained, the Interfax news agency reported.
“We call on the United States and its allies to prevent the irresponsible militarism of Ukraine, which implies unpredictable consequences for regional and international security,” quoted the Post as saying in a note to the United States.
