As investments are under way, road classification has not yet become new. Road classification, according to construction standards, is done by the board of relevant directors, Periscopi reports.

Kosovo's Statistics Agency from the Ministry of Infrastructure for 2009 and 2010 has only received changes in the length of the National and Regional roads, while starting in 2011 onwards it has also begun to accept data for the Auto category.

Thus, during 2011 there were a total of 38km of new auto routes, in 2012 this has been added to 224km.

During 2013 it has also grown to 17 miles [17.6 km], 20 km] in 2016, and in 2017 it has grown 10 km, and in 2018 it has grown 11km, and in 2019 it has grown 18 miles [18 km].

Now the length of the Auto total is 137.2km. In 2018 the National Road increased 11.3km, in 2019 were increased by 23.4km, in 2020 they increased 90,000km, and now the length of the National Roads is 755.2 km.

In 2015, ten miles [10.3 km] of Regimental roads were added, and by 2019 they increased 195.5km. During 2019 and 2020, certain categories and recategorizations of the streets occurred. Some local roads are classed in regional roads but also by the regional road have been re-categorized on national roads, and now the length of the Regional Road is 1,486.3km.

According to released data, we have 2,432,40 km in Kosovo's territory, where in the Auto Street category there are 6 %, National 31 %, and 61 %, Regional and 2 % are Freeway.

From the above chart notes that in 2021 of the total 2,432,40km of roads, or, in percentages, 96 %s are asphalted roads, while 81km or 4% of roads are without asphalt. / P ERSICOPI/
