Gidai has said that increasing Russia's grants in the area jeopardises the life of about one third of the remaining residents, reports the BBC, broadcasts Klankosova.tv.
He said Russia “was gathering forces for an offensive, and we see that the number of bombings has increased”.
Gidai said about 30 per cent of the people still remain in settlements throughout the region and have been asked to evacuate.
This comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin appears to be shifting the focus of his invasion to the east.
