In a rural and quiet neighbourhood about 70km west of Kiev, 50-year-old Anna (a name changed to preserve her privacy) reports to the BBC her horror caused by Russian forces, Periscope follows. She tells on March 7th she was home with her husband when a foreign soldier [...]
She relates on March 7 she was at home with her husband when a foreign soldier came in there violently.
Under the threat of the gun, he took me and sent me to a house near here. He ordered me: Take off or I'll kill you! He kept threatening to kill me. I didn't do what he told me. Then he began to rape me”, Anna relates.
Anna describes her bully as young, skinny and Chechen fighter.
When he was raping me, four more soldiers came in. I thought everything was over for me. But they took him and I never saw the soldier again”, she says. She believes she has been rescued from a separatist unit of Russian soldiers.
Later, she returned home and found her husband. He was shot in the stomach.
“Burri had tried to run after me to save me, but he was hit with some” bullets, she says. Both of them were seeking refuge in a neighbor's house. They could not take her husband to the hospital because of the fighting. He died of injuries two days later.
Anna did not stop crying as she related her story. It shows where she and her neighbors have buried her husband in their backyard. A wooden and long cross lies at the head of the tomb. She shows she's in contact with the local hospital and is receiving support from psychologists.
The soldiers who saved her life stayed home for a few days. She says they ran the gun and asked her to give them her husband's stuff.
When they left, I found drugs and Viagra. They were often drugged and influenced by alcohol. Most of them are murderers, robbers, and robbers. Few of them are in order”, she claims.
