Putin congratulated Vucinqiqi for winning the presidential election in Serbia, as well as for the SNS victory in parliamentary elections.
According to the Serbian president's press service, Putin voiced confidence that the two countries will maintain truly friendly relations, reports B92.
According to the statement, Vuciq said Serbia would continue to follow European road policy, preserving genuine and traditional friendly relations with the Russian Federation.
One inevitable topic was the situation in Ukraine, or Russian aggression against this country.
“Putin informed Vuciqi of the events in Ukraine and why Russia was led by, as President Putin said, the operation in Ukraine and President Vuciq referred to President Putin's already-known positions and the conclusions of the National Security Council.
