In an interview at the BBC, Denys Schmyhal said it was “absolutely the Bucha massacre is genocide against the Ukrainian nation from the Russian side”.
The view of troops linked from a nearby distance on Ukrainian streets in Bucha has triggered a global protest and promises of further sanctions against Russia from the West, writes abcnews.al.
Shmyhal also called on the West to stop buying Russian oil and gas, saying the money is being used to pre-finance this genocide” and crimes from Russia.
The Russian budget is the budget of terrorism and not just against Ukraine, against the entire civilized world. It's blood money because they use that money to buy weapons from which Ukrainians kill”, the Ukrainian prime minister said.
Russia, meanwhile, has denied that its forces have committed atrocities in Bucha and other countries in Ukraine.
