Varshava has sent more than 200 T-72s tanks production of origin from the Soviet Union in recent weeks, the state broadcaster has announced today. Along with tanks, Poland has also sent mobile artillery, intimidation and missile launchers as part of the $1.6 billion package.
Ukraine's allies have massively raised support to Kiev as fighting in the east escalated, with Kiev generals saying today Russia is experiencing huge losses in the key battle for Donbas.
Olexey Arestovych, a veteran of the military now in office as presidential adviser, acknowledged that his army is experiencing serious losses on the battlefield in the east, but insisted Russia's losses are much greater.
On the other hand, Ukraine is continuing to launch attacks behind Russian lines to disrupt supply routes, with an oil depot on fire today in Donnetsk.
