“O The SEU is extremely concerned that a number of members of the national mission The SMM [ Special Monitoring Mission] has been deprived of freedom in Donnetsk and Luhansk,”, says the Vienna-based organisation's announcement.
The organisation also added to its announcement that “is using all available channels to facilitate the release of its staff”, but did not provide more details.
On the other hand, in a statement issued Friday, the United Kingdom Mission to the OSCE condemned the alarming <x0-reporting” that Russian “forces have taken into captivity members of SM8x3> staff. The organisation says its observers there have an unarmed civilian mission to supervise and report impartially and objectively on the” situation.
Remember that O The SEU established its mission to eastern Ukraine in 2014, but its mandate expired on 31 March of this year after Russia accused him of bias and blocked his extension.
