The United Kingdom has said Russia is sending between 1,200 and 2,000 troops -- from Georgia to Ukraine -- as reinforcements.
Moscow has said on Tuesday it will reduce military activities in northern Ukraine and focus on “crim” of the Donbas region in the southeast.
Stoltenberg has said that the Russian goal of military results has not changed yet.
“We see continued city bombings and we see that Russia is repositioning some bodies, moving some, most likely to step up efforts in the Donbas” region, he said.
At the same time, Russia maintains pressure on Kiev and other cities. We can expect other actions within the offensive”.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has ordered the invasion of Ukraine on 24 February. /rel
