The company's circulation was hundreds of thousands of euros during 2019 and 2020, but in the end it owed the Tax Administration in the Malaysian state, reports Inseder newspaper.
Over 600 thousand euros from GEN-I company, the branch in Belgrade had been transferred to the firm “MB Consulting”, property of Kosovo ambassador to Croatia.
Television Planet TV reported that they were designed to influence the election process in Slovenia.
So far Ambassador Berisha has denied this part but has not indicated why it was paid by GEN-I Belgrade, and why it attracted those money and where it sent them.
The accounts of this firm in the state of Montenegro have already been blocked, the Inseder learns from sources within the institutions there.
The decision was made in September of last year.
The reason for this state action is that the firm owes tax.
Over 31m euros is the amount of debt from the tax default to profit from Berisha's firm. This estimated sum of tax revenues in profit shows that Berisha has received profits of hundreds of thousands of euros within a year from business in Montenegro.
