Albanian publicist living and acting in the US, Uk Lushi, has written again for state leaders Albin Kurtin of Vjosa Osmanin, in this case for the dismissal of diplomats and state servants.
Lushi says he feels ashamed of their music behavior.
Here's a full post:
Some unnecessary amateur and arrogant behaviour of the state of Kosovo since Vjosa Osmani and Albin Kurti have come to power with a dozen representatives of our diplomacy are against Albanian culture and tradition that respects human dignity. Addressing state diplomats without minimum respect as state servants shows primitiveness that states do not make serious and democratic.
It's okay to release or dismiss diplomats because the new power wants and wants its people at embassies and consulates, but state servants need to be treated with respect and dignity every moment. Even when their service ban is required. You can't take people away from the task they have served the state for years by giving them only a few days' deadline, without allowing them the minimum time to transfer duty, returning home for ministry needs, or even leaving diplomacy or even work. Diplomatic servants have families, have contractual housing obligations, have plans that cannot be abandoned for several days without consequences, often serious, personal, family, and state.
We Albanians have not created states so that they treat our people savagely and with no empathy to throw them on the street without giving them the minimum time to continue their career or life.
I feel ashamed of some kind of naive and primitive behavior of the Vjosa Osmani and Albin Kurti. No one should forget that the powers come and go and all make a mistake, and let us hope more than wrong good jobs, but treating citizens without dignity is hurt that doesn't happen to us because the state doesn't make sense when it mistreats any citizen, much more so when citizens are state servants.
I call on all free Albanians not to be afraid to ask Vjosa Osmani and Albin Kurti for human treatment of every citizen of Kosovo, including those Osman and Kurti consider outside their tariffs. Let us not be afraid to criticize and demand from any authorities to be human and not to avenge criticism or party-political differences. Albanians don't have anyone's denigration in their blood, much less of other Albanians.
