With the start of the war, Vladimir Putin has ordered nuclear forces to be on high alert, and a number of Russian officials have indicated that the country will use them under certain circumstances.
Lavrov also said Russia's new offensive in eastern Ukraine is entering the new phase, the same assessment done by the Ukrainian side.
