Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti has congratulated Dritan Abazovic on his election, as Montenegro's first.

Kurti has written through a Twitter post that she is eager to work with, to address the many challenges facing the region.

“E commends Dritan Abazovic, Montenegro's prime minister, from the Albanian community. I look forward to working closely together to address the many challenges we face in the region”, Kurti wrote.

Otherwise, Kurt is of origin from Montenegro.
