With the proposal of Interior Minister and Public Administration Jalal Svechla has been dismissed as Director General of Information Society, Kujtim Gashi.
Minister Svechla said he had been continued illegal mandates by “government Hoti” on January 22, 2020.
The government's decision of January 22, 2020, in which Mr. Cameron Gashi's mandate as Director General of the Information Society Agency continues for three years. That's with the goal of restoring legitimacy”.
Gashi, who was in his third term under Sfecla, has been violated by the Civil Service Law after this law envisions that one person is only for a mandate at the helm of this agency.
“Law has clearly determined that high-ranking appointment takes place for a three-year term and that a second term is not provided, therefore, a third mandate”, Sfecla said.
Remember Gashi, who has been running the Information Society Agency for seven years. In December 2013, he was elected to this position when the government was headed by Hashim Thaci, then chairman of PDK.
Gashi was in this position even in 2017 when The PDK had run it for chairman of the Kamenica municipality. He could not be elected, so he had returned to office as director general.
