The Kosovo Environment Protection Agency, based on the Kosovo Institute for Nature Protection in co-operation with the Lipjan municipality, has implemented the study of natural values that were previously counted on the territory of this municipality.
After preparing relevant elabors for all natural heritage facilities, the same have been submitted for approval to the Lipjan municipality's Assembly, which dates 04.04.2022, and has made 9 decisions for protection.
Mostly there are monuments of nature with hydrologic, botanical and geologicism:
1. Water sources;
2. Bungububuta Trung (Quercus pubets);
3. The Trung of Shcardh (Quercus frainetto);
4. Bungububuta Trung (Quercus pubets);
5. Clarity trunk (Quercus cerris);
6. The Stone of Kron;
7. Tround of the Plain (Quercus captive);
8. Circle trunk (Quercus cerris); and
9. The Troops of the Swords.
With the decision making for these natural heritage facilities, the registry of Kosovo's protected areas, which is maintained by the Kosovo Institute for Nature Protection, was added.
