Kosovo police confirm: We were attacked with guns in Zupche

Kosovo police have again been attacked in the north, specifically in the village of Zubin Potok.

The target of the attack again was Kosovo police, but the same saved the armoured car.

Full police announcement:

Today in the early hours of the morning, we confirm that a border patrol unit was attacked in the village of Zubin Potok.

All immediate police actions have been undertaken in the case, where police units from the Police Station in Zubin Potok have also emerged at the scene, announcing that the border unit has been attacked with firearms. Besides the material damage on the vehicle, there are no reports of injured officials.

Kosovo police, in co-operation and co-ordination with justice bodies, are taking all necessary investigative actions in connection with the case, as it has stepped up police measures aimed at the security of police officials and citizens.
