Parliamentary majority MP Armend Muja said in RTV Dukagjini that aid has resulted from price hikes.
There have also been assistance in November for categories designed to minimize the impact of price hikes”.
Muja has said that general state aid with this government approaches 1 billion euros, including various subsidies.
In 2019 the Kosovo government for grants and transfer has granted around 630m euros. Aid in time has gone to over 800 million. Our assistance now totals 1 billion euros. So the help of the Government of Kosovo has grown beyond the pandemic”.
“Dje also released a World Bank report saying that because of these measures, poverty in Kosovo in 2021 was reduced from 23% to 19%. This low level of poverty has never been” before, Muja stressed.
Muja says this government has subsidised the poor for the difference between the past it claims has allocated money for businesses.
He added that the minimum wage has not increased for 10 years, until Kurti Government doubled it for a year.
