In the first quarter of 2022, a total of 2 831 companies were registered. Compared to the preliminary quarter (TM4 2021) there is an increase of 17.2% of registered companies. And compared to the same quarter of the preliminary year (TM1 2021) has a decline for (-3.7%) companies registered.

The favorite economic activities in this quarter were: Large and retail markets, motor vehicle repair, motorcycles with 718 registered companies (25.4%); Production of 326 registered companies (11.5%); Builder with 312 registered companies (11%); Accommodation and food services activities with 279 registered companies (9.9%); Professional, scientific and technical activities with 267 companies registered (9.4%), etc.

In the category of 1 to 4 employed are 2 711 companies registered in this quarter (95.7 %); with 5 to 9 employed are 83 Sosh (2.9%); with 10 to 19 employed are 22 companies registered (0.7%); with 20 to 249 employed are 14 registered companies (0.5%); while in the category of 250 and more employed is only (1) a registered company.

As for the geographical alignment of registered companies at the level of municipalities, as in every quarter the municipality of Pristina prevails with 859 registered companies (30.3%); Prizren with 261 registered companies (9.2%); Ferizaj with 239 registered companies (8.4%); Gjilan with 170 registered companies (6%); Peja with 147 registered companies (5.2%); and Fushe Kosova with 135 companies registered (4.8%).
