Martin Berishaj, Kosovo's ambassador to Croatia, is allegedly carrying 600 thousand euros to CAS from Montenegro to Slovenian politician Robert Golob. Part of that money, as seen in evidence published on a television in Slovenia, Berisha had received it as monthly payments from GEN-I, the Belgrade branch, says Democracy.com.

However, Berisha turns out to be linked to energy more than is known so far. Even in his work as ambassador to Croatia, Berisha had numerous meetings with energy companies.

In the report on his quarterly work in 2022, which has been provided by a medium of Democracy, Martin Berisha had reported some of the energy - related meetings.

The GEN-I company with office in Belgrade, from which Berisha and his company had accepted thousands of euros as consultant, appears not to be the only energy company with which he had “confiscated” reports. This company proved to have received millions of euros from the state budget at the time of energy collapse in Kosovo.

Berishaaj had announced the expert that the Kosovo government had decided to make a new energy strategy.

Ambassador Martin Berisha seems to be a good energy connoisseur, since he also writes how Europe in the period of 2030 has seen 200 billion euros used for energy projects to preserve the environment and that there will be directives that will ban environmentally polluting projects.

Moreover, Berishaj and Djordjevic had also talked about a possible contract with the state of Kosovo, writes Democracy.com.

Also, it was reported yesterday that Martin Berisha had met in Zagreb with the KEK director, who appears to have been hiding in official reporting for MPJD.

KEK's director had visited Croatia in March. There he met with Ambassador Martin Berishaaj and a current merchant, who in the past not too far ago allegedly traded with companies run by Vuk Hamoviqi, former Serbian BIA employee.

This meeting, according to National Gazette sources, had taken place in Croatia's capital from March 16th to March 2022.

Krasniqi is also a member of the Vetevendosje Movement and once headed the Energy Committee at the ruling political party. The representative of the HEP company Croatia (Hrvatska Elektroprivreda), Zeqe Alia, was also at this meeting. HEP is a Croatian public company that deals with export and import of electricity.

A week earlier, Slovenian media had reported that in the company's account Martin Berisha's UK Consulting had transferred thousands of euros, which were later withdrawn to the CAS, for which it had attracted the attention of Montenegro's tax administration.

Despite having legal obligation, Berisha had not declared his companies registered outside Kosovo in the Anti-Corruption Agency.
