US General Confirms US Willing to Support KSF

The commander of the Kosovo Security Force, Lieutenant General Union Jashari, has hosted the United States European Command Deputy Commander General Michael L. Howard, with whom they discussed the security situation in Europe, with particular emphasis on Ukraine, and Russia's influence in the Balkans talked about boosting co-operation. [...]
The KSF community reportedly discussed increased co-operation between the Kosovo Security Force and the European Command of the United States during the meeting.
“KSF confirmed its commitment through its pledge of hospitality to the multinational Army DEFANDER SEEP 23K, which takes place under the European Command cup. Currently, KSF continues to participate in a large number of exercises and training carried out by the European Command”, the announcement said.

Also reportedly, the security situation in Europe, with special emphasis on Ukraine, and Russia's influence in the Balkans, was discussed at this meeting.
General Jashari “once again stated that the development of the Kosovo Security Force's capacities is in the function of preserving peace and stability in the region, and the realisation of the Kosovo Republic's aspirations for membership in NATO”, the communiqué said.
According to the communiqué, General Howard reaffirmed the European Command's readiness to support KSF on its road to further development through exercises, training, counseling and military programmes. He also thanked KSF for support in dealing with Afghan refugees.
Finally, General Yasar expressed particular gratitude to the United States Army for its support as a strategic partner in building the military capacities of the Kosovo Security Force.
