The new American ambassador to Serbia, Christopher Hill, has today officially appeared in public for the first time since taking office.
He attended an organised ceremony to commemorate the victims of the Belgrade bombings in April 1941.
The first time of the US diplomat's presentation at an event in Serbia has been interesting, this is because he has chanced to stay close to Russian Ambassador Alexander Botsan Kharchenko.
Except for the American and Russian who seemed smiling and sometimes not close to each other, according to the N1, London and Berlin envoys were present at this event organised at the Serbian headquarters.
This development came at a time when reports of countries coming from Hill and Kharchenko are not good and war in Ukraine has affected even greater.
Christopher Hill arrived in Belgrade at the end of March.
