Asdren has been the poet, publicist and activist of the Albanian colony of Bucharest. He was born on April 11, 1872, in Drnova.
In the fall of 1885, two older brothers went to Bucharest. He worked first as a coalist and chirik, then attended his studies privately and briefly near the University of Bucharest's Faculty of Political Sciences. In January 1899, he was among the founders of the Albanian student district, which in March 1902 became a society named Hope, founded by Asdren and his fellow writer Christo Dako.
In 1906 he became chairman of the new branch of society “Dija” in the Romanian capital, a society that was first established in Vienna.
Asdren began writing poetry and publishing articles early in the 20th century. In 1904 he published his first 99-born collection in Bucharest, “Sunset”.
In 1912 he published the second volume “The dream of tear” in Bucharest, summary, but with 99 poems as the first, while in 1930 he published the third poetic volume “Marcus”, yes in the Romanian capital.
He died on December 11, 1947, at the age of 75.
Below, find “Hin of Flag”:
About common flag
With a wish of a purpose,
All of him seemed to be sworn in.
Let's make a promise of salvation.
War alone leaves him
Born betrayed,
Who's a man is not afraid,
I'm dying, I'm dying like a martyr!
We'll keep the guns in hand.
To protect our home at every angle,
Our rights we share;
The enemies here have no room.
That God himself spoke
That the nations are cut off from above the earth,
Yes Albania will live;
To him, to fight us!
O flag, flag, holy mark,
We swear here,
For Albania's expensive home,
To honor your glory.
Trem, the man is called and honored
The land which was desolated;
For life he will remember
On earth, beneath the ground like a saint!
