Ukraine's president, Voldymyr Zelensky, has thanked the states that voted in favour of the resolution, stressing that the same chose the right side of history.
He through a post in his Twitter account has said he welcomes this decision from most states that called on Russia to stop its attack in Ukraine.
I welcome the adoption of the resolution by an unprecedented majority of states with a strong appeal to the Russian Federation to immediately stop the treacherous attack on Ukraine”.
According to him, truth and victory are theirs.
