Vuciq: Kosovo Serbs to vote in Serbia

Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has declared that Kosovo has demanded that the Government of Serbia directly seek the Government of Kosovo to allow the presidential and parliamentary elections to be held on April 3rd, or “that Serbia accept Kosovo”. Vuciq has said Serbia has refused to do something like that.
He said that today for the first time there were no <x0-activities agreed upon and co-ordinated” with Kosovo Serbs, and that he was surprised by their radical “proposal”.
“I have begged that they be patient and that we count to ten”, Vuciq stressed.
Kosovo Serbs, as Vuciq said, have immediately demanded that they leave all institutions and that “435 police officers drop their weapons and abandon police”.
Vuciq stressed that even <x0 people from the south” agreed to this “for the first time”, led by Dallibor Yevtic.
I asked them, we do it today, but what day after? We will take the financial burden, but the next day I am afraid we can enter the vicious circle of war conflicts”, Vuciq said.
He added that he has urged Kosovo Serb representatives to continue talks on 8 to 9 April.
Vuciq also stressed that for Kosovo Serbs, seats in municipalities in central Serbia will be prepared.
Vucic made these comments after meeting with Kosovo Serb political representatives on March 22nd. The meeting followed the EU announcement that authorities in Kosovo have rejected Quinn's request to hold Serbia's April 3rd presidential and parliamentary elections.
Vuciq has also met with the ambassadors of Quint countries in Belgrade today.
Today, too, a session of the National Security Council was held, attended by Serbia's prime minister, Ana Brnabiq, defence and interior ministers Nebojsa Stefanovic and Aleksandar Vulin, former Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, as well as other officials and representatives of security structures.
Meeting topics have not been officially announced. / REL
