Olexia Reznikov, who has led the Ukrainian delegation into negotiations, said technical work was progressing, but Russia had to stop shelling so that any compromise could be possible.
Speaking through video connection to Eurodeputs on the foreign affairs committee and the security and defence subcommittee, Reznikov said international leaders, like Israeli Prime Minister Naphtali Bennett, were trying to mediate.
“Of course, first of all during the negotiations we'll talk about a truce, humanitarian corridors, civil population security with evacuations, water, food, and maybe later we'll sign this agreement for peace”He said.
