“Ukraine cannot complete the ultimatum”, says Zelensky in an interview published by the Ukrainian public broadcasting company Suspin.
Russia had assigned Ukraine today as the deadline for handing over the port city of Mariupol, which is surrounded by Russians. Russia had said civilians and warriors would be allowed safe passage from the city as long as they handed over their weapons.
But, Ukraine rejected the ultimatum, saying surrender was not an option.
