Channel 10 broadcasting live footage from Ukraine's border with Poland has managed to interview Behluli and Shala.
“Arsyet are just too human. We've been touched by these images and a common enemy”, says Maliq Behluli.
Shala, meanwhile, hopes Ukraine will change its mind on Kosovo after these developments.
All EU states support Ukraine in this war. Russia's attitudes are known. Perhaps Ukraine will change its mind and support us”, Ismet Shala said.
They show that their experiences in war are few but have experienced war in Kosovo.
I have some experiences. I stayed in Kosovo during the war. Military service experience in the former Yugoslavia. We are reminded of what we have done in Kosovo”, says Behluli.
I have no experience. But I have experienced the war in Kosovo. The images speak for themselves. Kids, women. Men can't be seen. We're gonna get solidified with Ukrainian civilians. For peace everyone has the right to fight”, Shala added.
They believe Kosovo is not threatened by Serb aggression because of the international presence.
“I don't believe because we have NATO and KFOR”, Behluli said.
