Your eight-year-old Shpend job is being seen.

Former Pristina leader Shpend Ahmeti has commented on the work of the current mayor of the capital, labeling it "encipherded" because, according to him, he does not recognise work in the public sector. Ahmeti thinks the outside is not seeing any change. All these evaluations in the first 100 days. But the question is: What was seen by [...]

I'm just not really interested in details for days exactly how you're going, really outside it's not seeing anything, but on the other hand it might be one thing because they're preparing for documentation, with letters and stuff like this, said Shpend Ahmeti at Fidan last night.

Shpend Ahmeti thinks that progress Rama will be possible to keep all promises.

But who was Shpend Ahmeti in 8 years of government?

Coming to the top of municipal power was the best of times. He left without leaving any trace he would identify with Pristina.

Not the old guys, the sarins, the Shpendy” buses. Buses, it's the word that first comes to mind when Ahmet's name is mentioned for the work he left behind. Although he long bought them on loan 51 buses, today the streets of Pristina spend the first 40 years in buses and there is a great shortage of them. Time and again, they are caught in flames. Besides, for eight years traffic has been chaotic and still is.

As a member of the Vetevendosje Movement, Ahmeti came to power with the promise that he would stop construction without permission and high ones that were destroying Pristina, and preserve the identity and memory of the capital, but in his second term his approach to this idea changed. Today Pristina has no identity. Houses that store up the memory of many generations have been turned into bottleless crayons, which built by the side of the road without an inch of the yard.

Ahmeti during the 2017 election campaign has promised a total of a hundred promises, which he has divided into ten areas. Those pledges are public, and if one is seen, from work on the ground, about half of them have been realised.

There are even pledges of the first mandate that have not been fulfilled, as it is for “The foundation and functioning of the city's” hospital. The hospital is drawn exclusively on paper, and for its failure, of course Ahmeti has about 100 reasons.

Since he received his first mandate in 2013 until the end of 2021, Ahmeti's government has not built a school. Each year, about five schools have figured in the municipality's budget plan, but no one has started building them during its mandates. So schools are repeated in every budget of the fiscal year. Emergency school request has New Pristina's Kalabria neighbourhood. Of course, for this eight-year failure, Ahmeti has 100 reasons. The most frequent one has been having property problems. The last “we are looking to build several schools with private Public Partnership”, which three months before the mandate expired, but are not known whether to start building after President Rama announced some of the decisions would be revised.

For eight years no foundation stone has been laid for any health home. Since he received his mandate until he handed it over, every year in the budget has found the construction of health housing. It's a question of building one in the Veternik.

Taking into account budgetary restrictions, Ahmeti aimed at life infrastructure projects through public-private partnerships.

The ambitious projects, visual images, which still appear on the Pristina municipality website, which were presented to donors, are “Construction of the Olympic Pisca”, behind the Youth Palace, “Construction of the bus station” at the entrance of the city. Project “Banesor complex and Afarist on B Street. “/ Old Certificate Project” All of this has been designed since 2016 and presented at donor conferences. Except the underground parking lot, none of them have started. An excuse for this failure must surely be Ahmet.

The two green markets, the one in Ulpiana and Tophane, are the worst places they offer the city today. Besides poor image, selling products in these countries has been described as very dangerous to health and undignified to sellers.

Ahmeti also let his art lovers and those who want some entertainment on weekends down. He had promised the Concertal Hall, Theatre City, and Ansacker of the City. None of them did. On weekends citizens can only go to coffee or at Albin in Veternik.

Pristina continues to be the most polluted and unhealthy country in the region. All Ahmeti has undertaken in this plan is the initiative for adopting several points in the municipal Assembly to improve air quality. His plan was approved, but it was left only on paper.

The <x0->Muffrem Fyza” now ten years is still a hell for citizens there and those who cross that road. The coloctor at Calabria, who had begun to build in 2014, has never finished, and the opening of the canal has seriously endangered citizens who in summer face the bad smell of sewage passing through it.

The wandering dogs are present on the streets of Pristina, as never before. The Ahmeti government could never make a permanent solution.

Several million euros is the capital's frozen capital in real estate. Although, government Ahmeti issued construction permits, they were not equipped with property certificates, and their capital continues to be frozen, since they were not recognised property rights. /PERISCOP/
