President Joe Biden authorised on Saturday additional security aid the White House announced, paving the way for the immediate delivery of new military equipment to Ukraine, a senior administration official said.
The Pentagon refused to comment on the matter, referring to the White House and State Department questions. Ukraine has requested more antitank weapons “Javelin” and rocket “Stinger” to bring down Russian aircraft.
