Threats from a warmonger. Russian Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina Igor Calabuhov, last-day data to Bosnian media, cannot be characterised in other words except threats of war promoters, writes Croatian law expert Goran Vojkovovic of the Croatian news agency Index.
“Ambassador, a person whose task is to build good relations between the two countries and the many people living in them, abuses his position and openly threatens the media, first where he is located, Bosnia and Herzegovina and then others, including Croatia”, he writes.
A few days ago, Russian Federation Ambassador Igor Kalabukhov said in an interview for Bosnian television FTV: “If it (Bosnia) decides to be a member of anything, this is an internal issue. But the other one. The other thing is our reaction. What are you waiting for? If there are threats, we will react”.
“We should not explain how such a formulation is a clear threat at the time of the bloody Russian aggression against Ukraine”.
“But the ambassador wasn't enough, so he continued yesterday on Face TV: “We don't mind entering NATO. It's not a threat, perhaps a warning”, he said. “You set. It's like a vicious circle, I already said... Suppose, for example: Bosnia has become a NATO member, and Brussels decides to deploy nuclear missiles directed at Moscow. We will assess the strategic situation. Think the way out must be a European system, not NATO”.
“asked why Russia “does not worry” from the surrounding and neighbouring countries that are already part of NATO, he replied: “How do you know we don't have plans against Croatia, Hungary, Poland?
