A Russian air strike has killed six people, including a child in the village of Markhalivka near Kiev, regional police said on 4 March.
Two adults and two children were injured in the air strike and were rushed to the hospital, Kiev's regional police said.
The office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights said earlier in the day that 1006 victims, including 331 deaths registered among civilians in Ukraine since the beginning of the Russian invasion in Ukraine on February 24th, were registered.
The statement said the actual number of victims among civilians in Ukraine could be much higher.
UN figures conflict with those of Ukrainian authorities, who said on March 2nd that more than 2,000 civilians had been killed in Russian attacks since last week.
Ukraine's presidential office on March 4th quoted People's Lawyer Darya Heracymuk as saying 28 children were killed and 64 were injured by Russian attacks in cities across Ukraine. /rel/
