Raiding, 11-year-old Ukrainian passes border alone in Slovakia

He came alone because his parents had to stay in Ukraine. Volunteers cared for him, took him to a warm place, and gave him food and drink”, the ministry said.
The ministry said that thanks to information that was written in his hand and a letter that was folded into his passport, authorities at the border managed to contact some of his relatives in Slovakia who later went and took him.
He gained everyone's sympathy with his smile and the determination of a true hero”.
Still, it is still not known why he was unaccompanied.
By March 3rd, more than 1.2 million refugees have left Ukraine since February 24th. Most of them are located in Poland.
