Ramzan Cadyrov, the leader of Chechenia, who holds the rank of Major General at the Russian National Guard and whose forces have been deployed in Ukraine, is urging Putin to bomb Ukraine in submission to save further Russian losses.
The Daily Mail reports he told Putin to close his eyes for everything and let them finish it all.
In a audio message to Putin, 45-year-old is heard saying: “Comrade President, Comrade Commander Supreme. I've said several times that I'm your modest infantry, that I'm about to give my life for you.
But I can't keep watching my warriors and ours die, our ministry of defence forces, national guards and others...
I'm asking you to close your eyes to everything and let us finish it all in one or two days”, the audio says.
This alone will save our country and our people, that's my strong belief”, that's where it says.
His public appeal is a clear sign of disappointment in Russia for failing to invade Kiev and Kharkivin quickly and will be seen as an admission that the Kremlin forces are stuck.
Cadyrov's Chechen fighters have already reportedly been detained as they sought to kill Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky.
