Kosovo police for the Mitrovica region have confirmed that one member of them has lost his life during an activity in the Cerrusha shooting range.
It's about a police officer, age 44.
“At around 10:28 today, it has been reported that at the police shooting range in the village of Crnusha in Mitrovica, a police officer has been shot with guns while he was on fire shooting under the regular (re-certification) ”.
The injured “polic was immediately transported to Mitrovica Regional Hospital, but on the part of medical personnel the death of police officer B.T., 44-year-old employee at the Mitrovica Regional Police Directorate Veri”, it is said in the statement.
According to first information, the case happened by accident. The competent police units have emerged at the scene as well as the Kosovo Police Inspectorate announced, which will continue investigations into co-operation and co-ordination with the prosecutor”.
