Poland has announced that it has decided to alert, immediately and for free, all its MIG 29 aircraft at the Ramstein air base, making it available to the United States government.
It is later thought that the US will be responsible for sending aircraft to Ukraine.
In exchange, Poland is demanding that the United States provide them with alternative aircraft.
Polish government has asked other Alliance countries NATO, which has MIG-19 aircraft, to act the same way.
Days ago, US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken visited Poland, where the possibility of sending planes to Poland was discussed if Warsaw decides to send combat aircraft to Ukraine.
I can't talk about a deadline, but I can just say that we're constantly dealing with this”, Blinken said.
