(4 years ago)The Information and Private Agency has fined the Podujevo municipality for illegal processing of personal data. Up to this came after the Podujevo municipality had a list of personal citizen data sites that earned subsidies, including between 2017 and 2022. [...]
After completing the inspection procedures, The AIP has found that the Podujevo Community has published lists in which they have been: name, last name, personal number, phone number, residence and profitable sum.
Between publishing these data, the same has processed personal data contrary to Article 4 and 5 of Law No. 06/L-082 for the Protection of Personal Data, and with that, he has committed outrage by Article 92, paragraph 1 of Law No. 06/L-082 for the Protection of Personal Data”, the AIP communiqué says.
So, the Agency for Information and Privateity has pronounced a fine against the Podujevo municipality for illegal processing of personal data.
In this case, the AIP called on all public and private controllers, for personal data processing to be legitimate, contrary to the Agency for Information and Privateness, on the basis of legal competencies it is obliged to take the right actions and measures to declare fines for disrespecting the pre-law provisions. / P ERISCOPIA
