Peci on Fidan's show at T7 said there is no need for panic, as there is reservations for the next two months.
“We also had a meeting with the miller association, they explained that a considerable number of millers have reservations for the next two months. While for a period of a month or five weeks from yesterday, the grain grinding capacity in Kosovo mills has been triple or fourfold of their regular activities.
According to them, on the basis of the grinding trends and capacities for 1 month has ground and distributed to citizens some of the amount of flour estimated to be on average for 3 months, while with the same intensity they have reserves and for the next two months of wheat to distribute”, Peci said.
He added that there may be flour supplies from other Kosovo friendly countries as well, while he says after several months Kosovo will have new wheat to harvest.
“I think there is no need for panic, no matter what the difficulties are in the market, as long as we have the credit share from the government's budget for reserves, while we are in communication with the Association of millers and producers, and as long as there is real opportunity for supplies from the friendly countries of Kosovo, and as we speak of a interval of 4 or 5 months to this interval, we will have in Kosovo the newly harvested grain that is estimated that Kosovo owns up to 70 thousand acres an average, this naturally suggests that there is no need for panic, the challenge is going to be exceeded, he said.
